The Sciton HALO® TRIBRID™ is the most significant advance in laser skin resurfacing in a decade. It unites three independently controlled wavelengths into a single handpiece: the HALO hybrid fractional laser, the MOXI non-ablative laser, and Sciton's legendary erbium resurfacing. Each targets a different depth of the skin, and for the first time all three can be combined and customized in one treatment — reaching every layer of the skin in a single session.

ICON is among the highest-volume HALO TRIBRID providers in Michigan, and Dr. Zayid serves as a Key Opinion Leader for Sciton. That depth of experience matters with a device this powerful: the TRIBRID's flexibility is exactly what makes it extraordinary in expert hands, because every setting is a clinical decision made for your skin specifically.

Three Wavelengths, Every Layer of the Skin

2940 nm — Erbium Resurfacing

The ablative wavelength gently resurfaces the outermost layer of skin, refining texture, softening fine lines, and smoothing visible imperfections for skin that is silky to the touch.

1927 nm — MOXI

The non-ablative wavelength that treats the superficial dermis, clearing uneven tone, sun spots, and pigmentation to restore clarity and brightness.

1470 nm — HALO Deep Dermal

The deep wavelength reaches into the dermis to stimulate a strong collagen and elastin response, building long-term firmness and structure from beneath.

Because each wavelength is controlled independently, the treatment is fully customizable: from a gentle glow-and-brighten session with minimal downtime to a comprehensive corrective resurfacing, and every combination in between — all from one device, in one appointment.

What the HALO TRIBRID Treats

The TRIBRID addresses the widest range of concerns of any resurfacing laser we've used: fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage and pigmentation, uneven tone and texture, enlarged pores, acne scars and other scarring, and overall dullness. Because it treats every layer at once, patients who previously needed a series of different treatments — one for texture, one for pigment, one for collagen — can often achieve the same outcome in a single, unified session.

Intelligent Safety

The TRIBRID's Dynamic Thermal Optimization continuously senses skin temperature and adjusts each pulse in real time, delivering precise, consistent energy with a built-in safety margin. Combined with Sciton's optical tracking, this gives us confidence to treat effectively across a wide range of skin types, with settings calibrated for each patient rather than a one-size protocol.

What to Expect

Topical numbing is applied before treatment, and the session itself typically takes thirty to sixty minutes depending on the treatment area and the intensity of your customized plan. Afterward, expect redness and a warm, sunburn-like sensation for the first day, followed by a period of light peeling or bronzed appearance as the treated skin turns over. Downtime depends entirely on your plan: lighter sessions have you presentable within a day or two, while a comprehensive resurfacing may take five to seven days to fully settle.

The first results appear as the skin renews over the first week — the "TRIBRID glow" — with tone and texture continuing to improve over the following months as collagen rebuilds. Many patients see remarkable transformation from a single session; others benefit from a short series tailored to their goals.
