NeoGraft FUE hair transplant is the centerpiece of hair restoration at ICON — a permanent, scarless solution for patients ready for lasting change. Oral and injectable treatments play an important supporting role too, whether you're not yet ready for a transplant or you're protecting your results after one.

NeoGraft FUE Hair Transplant

NeoGraft FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) is the most advanced hair transplant system available today — highly effective, minimally invasive, and performed without leaving a linear scar.

During your NeoGraft procedure, individual hair follicles are extracted from the back and sides of your scalp using a precision tool, then implanted directly into thinning or balding areas — all in a single, in-office visit.

The animation below, from NeoGraft, shows exactly how the follicular unit extraction and "no touch" implantation process works, step by step.

The Benefits of NeoGraft FUE

  • Minimally invasive. No scalpels, no sutures, and no linear scar.
  • In-office treatment. Performed comfortably in a single visit, not a hospital procedure.
  • Reduced follicle damage. Less trauma to each follicle supports a stronger survival rate.
  • Quicker recovery. Most patients are back to normal activity within days.
  • Natural, permanent results. Transplanted hair grows exactly like the hair around it, for life.

NeoGraft vs. Traditional FUE

Traditional FUE requires each follicle to be extracted and implanted by hand. NeoGraft uses specialized tools to assist both steps, resulting in less trauma to each follicle, a lower risk of complications, and a meaningfully quicker procedure — all while preserving the same scarless, natural-looking results FUE is known for.

Is NeoGraft FUE Right for You?

Diagnosed with male or female pattern hair loss
Have a reliable donor area with relatively thick, healthy hair
Experiencing thinning at the hairline, crown, or overall scalp
Looking for a permanent solution, not an ongoing maintenance treatment

Candidacy is confirmed at your consultation, where we'll evaluate your donor area, hair characteristics, and goals to determine whether NeoGraft — or a combination of treatments — is the right path for you.

What to Expect on Procedure Day

Your scalp is prepared and a local anesthetic is applied to keep you comfortable throughout. Using the NeoGraft system, individual follicles are extracted from your donor area and implanted directly into treatment areas using a specialized tool that eliminates the need for lengthy incisions. A protective dressing is applied to both donor and treatment sites before you head home the same day.

Recovery

Most patients return to work within a few days. The treated area fully heals within about two weeks, at which point most patients resume their normal routine without restriction. Transplanted hair typically sheds around the three-week mark before new growth begins — a normal, expected part of the process — with visible results developing over the following months.

Female Hair Restoration

Hair loss in women is common, under-discussed, and highly treatable — but it behaves differently than male pattern loss, and it deserves an approach built for it. Women more often experience diffuse thinning, a widening part line, or temple recession rather than complete balding, and hormonal drivers like thyroid function, postpartum shifts, perimenopause, and birth control changes frequently play a role.

That's why every female hair restoration plan at ICON starts with the hormone and lab evaluation we're known for — addressing the cause, not just the symptom. From there, your plan may include medical therapy, regenerative injectables, or a Female FUE transplant using the same NeoGraft system, adapted for women: density restored at the part line, hairline, and temples, with no need to shave your head and no linear scar, so long hair conceals the work almost immediately.

Beyond the Scalp: Beard & Eyebrow Transplants

The same NeoGraft FUE precision applies anywhere hair grows. Individual follicles are harvested and placed one by one, with exact control over angle, direction, and density — which is what makes facial hair work look natural rather than transplanted.

Eyebrow Transplant

Rebuilds overplucked, thinning, patchy, or scarred brows with real, permanently growing hair — a lasting alternative to daily makeup and repeated microblading. Each follicle is placed to follow the natural direction of brow growth.

Beard Transplant

Fills patchy or uneven beard growth, conceals scarring, and defines the beard line permanently. The design is mapped to your facial structure before a single graft is placed, and the result grows, shaves, and styles like the rest of your beard.

Supporting Treatments

Oral and injectable treatments work alongside NeoGraft FUE, not in place of it — whether you're not yet ready for a transplant, want to protect your existing hair beforehand, or want to support your results afterward.

Oral Treatments

For many patients, oral medication is the first and most foundational step — daily treatment that works systemically to slow further loss and support the hair you still have.

Finasteride

A daily medication that blocks the hormone primarily responsible for pattern hair loss in men, slowing further thinning and, for many patients, supporting regrowth over time.

Dutasteride

Works similarly to finasteride but blocks that hormone more completely, making it a stronger option for patients who need more than finasteride alone provides.

Minoxidil

A topical or oral treatment that increases blood flow to hair follicles and extends their active growth phase, often used alongside finasteride or dutasteride for a more complete approach.

Injectables

Injectable treatments deliver active ingredients directly to the scalp and follicles, often producing a stronger response than oral or topical treatment alone.

Dutasteride Injections

A concentrated, targeted alternative to the oral medication, delivered directly where it's needed most.

Biotin

Supports the structural protein your hair is built from, often included as part of a broader injectable protocol.

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)

Your own blood is processed to concentrate growth factors, then injected into the scalp to stimulate follicles and support regrowth.

PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin)

A related regenerative technique that releases growth factors more gradually than PRP, for sustained stimulation over time.

Stem Cells

Regenerative injectable therapy aimed at supporting follicle health and stimulating new growth at the cellular level.

Why Choose ICON for Hair Restoration

Hair restoration works best as part of a complete plan, not a single isolated treatment. Because ICON already brings together hormone optimization, regenerative medicine, and precision injectable technique under one roof, your hair plan is built with your full health picture in mind — not treated as a separate, disconnected concern.
