Because the fat is removed directly rather than broken down gradually by an injectable, results are visible almost immediately once swelling resolves, and the treated fat cells are permanently removed rather than needing repeated sessions to reach full effect.
How do results, timeline, and cost compare?
A full course of Kybella often requires multiple sessions, each with its own cost and its own days of swelling, and the cumulative price of a complete treatment series can add up to meet or exceed the cost of a single liposuction session. Liposuction, by contrast, is typically completed in one visit, with a defined, predictable recovery window and a result that's usually apparent within a few weeks as swelling resolves — without the need to return for additional rounds of treatment to achieve the same degree of improvement.

When Kybella still makes sense?
