Sciton HALO® is the world’s first hybrid fractional laser, combining both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to deeply resurface the skin with minimal downtime. HALO® dramatically improves sun damage, fine lines, uneven texture, enlarged pores, and discoloration — revealing luminous, smoother, and more youthful skin.
Sciton Halo works by delivering two types of laser wavelengths at the same time to target both the surface and deeper layers of your skin. Ablative wavelength (2940 nm): Removes tiny microscopic columns of damaged skin, stimulating the body to replace them with fresh, healthy tissue. Non-ablative wavelength (1470 nm): Heats the deeper dermis without removing skin, triggering collagen and elastin production for long-term tightening and texture improvement. Because it treats both layers in one pass, Halo can improve fine lines, pigmentation, sun damage, pores, and skin texture with less downtime than traditional resurfacing.

Halo is unique because it’s the first hybrid fractional laser, meaning it delivers both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths in a single treatment. This allows it to resurface the skin for quick visible results while also stimulating deep collagen production for long-term improvement—something most lasers can’t do at the same time. The dual action means better results in fewer sessions, with less downtime and a more comfortable recovery compared to many traditional lasers.

HALO is a complete skin revitalization laser treatment. You will see overall improvements in your skin, including a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduced pore size, improved skin reflectivity and glow, and significant removal of discoloration.
Discuss your skincare needs with your clinician. You may choose to receive one or two aggressive treatments or multiple gentle treatments to achieve the same goal over a longer period of time.
With a topical anesthetic and integrated cooling technology, patients typically experience very little discomfort. Most patients describe the treatment as a feeling of heat with occasional prickling sensations but are generally comfortable. After the treatment, most patients will continue to feel warm for an additional 30 to 60 minutes or slightly longer with deeper treatment levels.
You will see initial results between two and five days after your HALO treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Most patients see the greatest pigmentary improvement in the first two to three weeks. This is followed by a dermal regeneration phase that continues to improve for months.
Your HALO results will last for years, but you should keep your skin protected at all times with UV sunscreen. With each additional HALO treatment, you will experience continued improvement with healthier, more youthful-looking skin.
