Amra Omerovic, RN

I graduated from an accelerated nursing program in 2019 in Valparaiso, Indiana, and began my career in the Surgical ICU before transitioning to the Cardiovascular ICU at the University of Michigan. There, I worked closely with heart and lung transplant patients—an experience that was both intense and deeply transformative. While I loved caring for patients during their most critical moments, I always felt called to do something more.

That calling led me to travel nursing, first in Chicago and then Arizona—where I discovered my passion for aesthetics. After completing my certification at the National Laser Institute, I was eager to start injecting… but quickly realized it wouldn’t be easy. Every job required experience—but no one would give me the opportunity to gain it.

After countless applications and walking into medspas and plastic surgery offices across the country, a plastic surgeon in Michigan finally gave me a chance. I’ll always be grateful for that. I learned firsthand that not everything can be fixed with filler or Botox—and sometimes surgery is the better option. That honesty and education helped shape the way I practice today.

Since 2022, I’ve been injecting full-time and continue to approach each patient with compassion, attention to detail, and a commitment to natural, balanced results. For me, aesthetics isn’t just about beauty—it’s about trust, confidence, and feeling like your best self.

Now, I’m proud to say I’m at my forever home at Icon—and I’m just getting started.
