Dr. Alex Zayid, MD

Preventative Specialist

Dr. Alexander Zayid, MD is a Board Certified Primary Care Physician through the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Zayid completed his training through Michigan State University affiliate Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan.

Amidst practicing primary & urgent care, Dr. Zayid is currently pursuing a double board certification in Medical Aesthetics & Anti-Aging and Metabolic Medicine with the American Board of Anti-Aging / Regenerative Medicine, pending completion in June of 2023.

Dr. Zayid has always had a special interest in preventative medicine from both a biologic and aesthetic standpoint. His goal is to treat problems before they arise by taking a proactive approach to screening and preventing disease, rather than simply reacting to a diagnosis. Dr. Zayid focused his preventative training in weight loss, aesthetics and anti-aging medicine.

However, my passion for aesthetics led me to pursue specialized training at National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. I'm committed to ongoing education, constantly seeking advanced certifications to ensure your safety and the effectiveness of your treatments. Collaborating closely with Dr. Zayid and the dedicated team at Icon, your health and safety are our top priorities. Hello! My name is Nicole Yaldoo, and I am a Physician Assistant here at Icon Anti-Aging and Aesthetics! Since becoming a Physician Assistant, I have been drawn to the field of aesthetics as it allows me to combine my passion for anatomy and my passion for beauty into one! I believe I have the ability to make a real impact on patients’ lives by giving them their confidence back and making meaningful connections with them along their aesthetic journey. As for a little background about me, health and fitness have always been at the center of my education as I completed my undergrad at The University of Michigan, School of Kinesiology. I went on to become a functional medicine Physician Assistant specializing in all things regenerative and preventative medicine- weight loss, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, gut health, peptide therapy, sexual wellness, PRP treatments, and IV therapies including ketamine IV therapy. In my personal life, I love to run, travel the world with my husband, and cook homemade classic Italian dishes. My focus as a Physician Assistant in the aesthetic medicine space is to address the patient as a whole taking into account both their aesthetic and wellness goals. I started my nursing journey working in the pediatric intensive care unit, and in a variety of different surgical centers. My passion for beauty and aesthetics eventually led me to transition my career. With years of dedicated training and experience in aesthetic medicine, I have had the privilege of providing exceptional care and transformative treatments to so many beautiful faces. 
 
I truly believe that when we look good in our own eyes and feel good in our own skin, we project the best version of ourselves! Helping and educating my patients on all things beauty, skincare, and wellness while accomplishing their goals is what I love!
